Brochures

Brochures appear in all shapes and sizes – a diversity which reflects the wide range of reasons for which they’re produced. A simple linecard style makes a useful sales tool during customer meetings, supporting pragmatic discussion about product choices and specifications. A glossier, graphics-rich production promotes your company as a well resourced and innovative industry leader; a first tier supplier to your customers.

Whatever your objectives, it’s essential that your brochure’s appearance is complemented by content that’s engaging, accurate and credible: The right sales messages, backed by more detailed copy that demonstrates the substance behind your organisation, product and service key features.

It can be difficult to envisage the final style, content and size of a planned new brochure, and to allow accurately for the timescales and budget needed to produce it. I respond by using a step by step approach to the brochure’s design and production. Before committing to detailed content, I produce a framework brochure. This provides a discussion point, allowing me to ensure my ideas match your vision, objectives and expectations. I can then populate the frame with the detailed content. As the project progresses, I recommend frequent reviews to discuss any fresh ideas or opportunities uncovered by the work, as well as any departures from the expected results at the earliest possible stage.

If required I can engage and manage graphics designers and photographers, ensuring that their creative output accurately reflects the messages the brochure is to communicate. I can also manage printing of the approved brochure, to achieve competitive, on-time deliveries with optimised format, paper weight and finish.

Website and blog content

Website and blog content often comprises articles, case studies and press releases that can also be placed into the media. But websites can additionally  include more technical or help-oriented topics such as glossaries, selection guides, ‘Hints and Tips’ or PDF data sheets.

Newsletter content

Newsletter copy can comprise the complete content for your own newsletter, or a short entry for inclusion in a newsletter broadcast by an online media third party such as ProTalk.
